Keeping Your Kitchen Clean

Some people take the cleanliness of their kitchen for granted. Some might think that the simple spray down with bleach every so often should take care of the worst, but in reality this is not the case.A clean kitchen can help prevent you and your family from getting ill, and can even keep everyone healthier.

Here is a cleaning regiment that should only take you between 30 and 90 minutes to give your kitchen the clean down. Before you begin you need to gather all your cleaning materials together, give yourself a goal and a reward for when you finish, and put on an audio book or your favorite CD to create a fun atmosphere.

Start with a quick clutter clean-up around the kitchen-put everything away, clear the dishes. Everything needs to be cleared to begin:

Wash the walls, dust the ceiling, fans, and corners of the wall-there are many things we forget that con collect dust and germs like the air vents and doorknobs. Walls can have food splattered on them, grease stains can accumulate on the walls.

Dust the art-many people have well decorate kitchens, the only price to be paid is that they need to be cleaned.

Dust and clean the windowsills, take down the drapes and get all those hard to reach spots.

Your oven and refrigerator need to be washed. Yes it's true. There is stuff around the cords of your refrigerator and under it, you know it, so clean it.

An important appliance to keep clean is your dish washer. A great way to clean this useful piece of machinery is to run it empty.

Sweep the floors and mop.You have a mop, it is time to use it.Make sure to do this last so no one will walk on your clean floors and it has time to dry.

Keeping a clean kitchen is to everyone's benefit.Do a deep clean at least once a month and cut back on the germs that like to live in this important part of your house.
